Town-Country United Bank

TC+UB=Better Together

Town-Country National Bank will soon partner with UB Community Development and United Bank, a community bank like us with deep roots in Alabama. Our relationship will not change. We will continue to serve you as we always have, but we will be able to offer you more products and services. This is exciting news for our community as well as you, our customer! As a valued customer, we would like to address any questions you may have.

For example:

  • Who is United?
    • United is United Bancorporation of Alabama, Inc.  United, a publicly traded company traded under the stock ticker OTCQX: UBAB, is the holding company for United Bank as well as UB Community Development, a community development partner of United Bank.
  • What does the partnership with United mean?
    • The partnership has created an exciting opportunity for TCNB & United to expand products, services and capabilities to continue to strengthen and support our employees, customers and community.
  • Will current products and services still be offered?
    • Absolutely, TCNB will still be offering their foundational banking products and services.  The beauty of this partnership is the extended relationship.  And through that relationship, we will be able to offer more products and services such as fixed rate mortgages, credit cards, financial and insurance services and so much more.
  • Will fees change?
    • Your current fee structure will remain the same.
  • Will I still be able to contact bank employees who helped me for years?
    • At TCNB, you can count on working with familiar faces who know and understand your banking needs.
  • Will the bank contact information change?
    • Nothing will change at this time.  You will be able to use the same mailing address, phone number and email of your favorite TCNB banker.
  • Will my checks and debit cards still work?
    • Yes, success!  We have made a commitment to have the least amount of disruption for you during this transition.  Account numbers, usernames, checks & debit cards will all remain operational and will not change.
  • Will I be able to use United Bank ATMs?
    • The ability for TCNB customers to use United Bank ATMs is in process however at this time we do not have an effective date.  Additionally, we are evaluating the possibility of placing an ATM in Beatrice supporting both TCNB & United Bank customers.
  • Will funds availability times change (same day deposit available)?
    • TCNB Funds Availability policy will not change.  For questions related to our Funds Availability Policy, please contact your local TCNB banker.
  • Will I still feel comfortable walking in and being myself?
    • At TCNB, the foundation of our strength resides in our exceptional service and local presence you trust.  We are dedicated to making you feel at home.
  • How will the community benefit from the partnership?
    • As a community bank, we understand that for a community to prosper there must be an alignment of resources invested into building relationships.  Work is already underway to immediately partner with community leaders to actively participate in community service projects, programs and sponsorships supporting local organizations and clubs.
