Annual 5K & Fun Run
Town Country National Bank will be hosting the 8th Annual Run for a Cure on November 23, 2019. We hope you will join us in our battle to fight this terrible disease.
TCNB'S TAILGATE & RUN FOR A CURE RACE OPTIONS
Iron Bowl Ticket Raffle. TCNB is raffling off a pair of 2019 Iron Bowl Tickets as part of this year's Run for a Cure. The game will be held at Jordan Hare Stadium on November 30, 2019. Each Run for a Cure race participant will receive one ticket into TCNB's 2019 Iron Bowl Raffle. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased at TCNB. Each additional ticket is $5 or five tickets for $20. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society and Smile-A-Mile.
The winner will be drawn on November 23rd during the Run for a Cure Awards Ceremony. You do not have to be a race participant to purchase raffle tickets. Winner does not have to be present to win.
Our main event is the 5K (3.1 miles). This race is open to all age groups. The pace is entirely up to the participant. We welcome competitive runners, walkers, strollers, etc.… This race does not include the color bombs. T-shirts are included in the race entry fee of $25.00 but are only guaranteed to participants signed up by October 30th. This race will begin promptly at 9:30am. You will need to arrive and sign in no later than 8:45am. Awards (1st-3rd) will be given out in each division.
Our 2nd event is the 1-Mile Color Fun Run. This race is open to all age groups. This race INCLUDES color bombs. T-shirts are included in the race entry fee of $20.00 but are only guaranteed to participants signed up by October 30th. However, we strongly recommend that you wear a solid white t-shirt to this race. (We cannot guarantee the color bombs will not stain clothing). This race will begin after the 5K has concluded (approximately 10:45). Participants will need to arrive and sign in no later than 10:00am. This race is not timed but participation medals will be awarded.
All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.
